Maggie has completed her City and Guilds in Floristry and Flower Arranging, and Maggie’s Flowers has been successfully providing wedding flowers, special events, demonstrations and workshops for over 10 years.
For many years Maggie juggled two careers as Nurse and Florist but, over the years her talent for Floristry became her overriding passion and so she decided to refresh her skills at London’s prestigious Covent Garden Academy of Floristry. She continues to attend further courses at Reaseheath College and Tallulah Rose to ensure that she stays ahead of the latest trends, techniques and sustainability in event and wedding floristry. This has helped Maggie strengthen her opulent, visionary and creative approach to flowers, weddings and events.
Maggie’s Flower Barn is in the heart of Cheshire on the family farm. Maggie is also passionate about gardening and the two run hand in hand, as she likes to grow and forage for some of her foliage for her floral designs, adding a unique touch, bespoke to every occasion.
In a very short time, Maggie gained a strong reputation for creative excellence and quality. Maggie and her team will take you on a creative journey; from your first Pinterest mood board, Instagram post, swatch of fabric though to the last petal, every detail is carefully considered to turn your dream wedding or event into a reality. No dream is too big, no detail is too small. Maggie and the team of florists she uses who work with her are here to make it happen from an intimate wedding for 10, to a marquee event for 300+ guests. Maggie works with a number of prestigious wedding and event venues in Cheshire and Manchester including Arley Hall, Owen House Wedding Barn, Victoria Warehouse, Capesthorne Hall, Nunsmere Hall, Delamere Manor, Mere Court to name a few.
Floral Workshops have become increasingly in demand here at the Flower Barn. During these events the flower barn is full of creativity, fun and laughter (with tea and cake too). Some clients have said its great therapy for your mental health, plus you get to go home with your own wonderful fresh bouquet of flowers or a creative wreath. We also offer Kokedama workshops and bespoke flower arranging sessions – from table scaping to arranging flowers from your garden. We also deliver Floral demonstrations to different groups across the North West.
